 		חג הפסח הוא חג החירות המסמל עבורנו התחלות רבות. הגפנים החלו ללבלב ואנו כבר רואים את הבציר קרב בצעדי ענק.
בשבועות האחרונים זכינו לחוות לחץ מכירות רחב ומבורך לרגל החג, יותר ממה שהיינו רגילים לו בעבר, היענות לקוחותינו מפיחה בנו רוח גבית, ועשרות אלפי משפחות פתחו ובירכו על היין שלנו בליל הסדר. התוצרת של ריבות היין נחטפת ואריזות השי נמכרות בצורה משביעת רצון.
כבכל שנה חגנו את החג בחוג המשפחה ויחד עם האורחים.
אנו מאחלים לכל לקוחותינו וידידנו באשר הם שנמשיך לחוג הרבה פסחים יחד.
מילים טובות יש לי גם לעובדי היקב שעובדים במסירות אין קץ לבנייתו ולחיזוקו.

תערוכת היין Vinitaly 2008 בורונה, איטליה.
Vinitaly Logo תערוכת ה-VINITALY ה-42 התקיימה בורונה שבאיטליה. זוהי תערוכה עצומה בגודלה של יין עם נוכחות של מציגים מ-5 יבשות שונות. במקביל לה מתקיימת תערוכת השמן זית הידועה והנחשבת SOL. מארגני התערוכה מדווחים על השתתפות מדהימה של יותר מ- 150,000 מבקרים שמתוכם 30% מחוץ לאיטליה, עלייה של 15% בהשוואה לשנה הקודמת (קישור לכתבה). בתערוכה השתתפו כ-4300 מציגים מ-30 מדינות שונות, יקב תשבי היה היחיד מישראל. אושרה תשבי שהייתה נציגתנו מהיקב מספרת: "רצינו לפתוח דלת למפיץ שלנו באיטליה S&C ולפתח קשרים בשוק היינות המקומי, הייתה פתיחות גדולה מאוד ליין שלנו..." הביתן של היקב מוקם בשכנות לביתן של דרום אפריקה. שניהם משכו תשומת לב רבה.

אנשים רבים, ללא הפסקה, התאספו וחיכו בתור להכיר, להריח ולטעום. השילוב של יין ואוכל עורר סקרנות בעיתונות ובטלוויזיה, אושרה מספרת: "...גם באיטליה, ארץ היין , ריבות היין כבשו את האיטלקים!"
כיום, מפיץ את יין תשבי באיטליה מרקו סרגרה. השוק מתחיל להפתח ליין מרחבי העולם ואנו מקווים להפתיע את האיטלקים באיכות היין שלנו.

פעילויות חג הפסח במרכז המבקרים
בחול המועד של חג הפסח מרכז המבקרים של היקב והמסעדה יהיו פתוחים בימים ב'-ו'. המסעדה תגיש ממגוון התפריט הכשר לחג הפסח (תפריט חלבי וארוחות דגים).

Words from the Proprietor, Jonathan Tishbi

The Passover Holiday celebrates freedom and to us it symbolizes many new beginnings. The vineyards have begun to bloom and we already foresee the upcoming harvest approximating with giant leaps. During recent weeks, we were fortunate to experience intense and welcomed pre-holiday sales activities on a larger scale than ever before. Our clients' responses instill in us a strong drive to move forward and tens of thousands of families opened a bottle of our wine and blessed upon it at their Seders. The wine jellies are being grabbed off the shelves and the gift packages are being sold to our satisfaction. We plan on celebrating the Holiday with family and guests. We wish all of our customers and friends to continue celebrating many future Passovers together. I also wish to recognize the members of our staff who devotedly work to build and strengthen the Winery.

 In continuation with the existing cooperation between IKEA and Tishbi Estate Winery, Tishbi wines and gourmet items from Oshra Tishbi's "Fine Food" collection will be sold at IKEA's Sweedish Shop located at the Poleg site in Netanya.

Vinitaly 2008 Wine Exhibition at Verona, Italy .Vinitaly Logo
The 42nd annual Vinitaly Exhibition took place earlier this month in Verona, Italy. This is one of the largest shows of its kind for wine with exhibitors from 5 continents and it takes place at the same time as the renowned olive oil show, SOL. The exhibition's organizers report this year's outstanding turnout numbering over 150,000 participants of which over a third came from abroad, an increase in 15% from last year's foreign visitors (click here for a link to the full article). Among the 4,300 exhibitors from 30 different countries who participated in the show, Tishbi Estate Winery was the only Israeli winery. Oshra Tishbi who flew over to represent the Estate and its products commented, "We wanted to open the door for our Italian distributor, S&C Wine Branch, in his local market and beyond and there was great openness to our wines…" The Winery's stand was located adjacent to that of a South African winery. Both of the stands drew a lot of attention.

People continuously lined up and gathered round to get to know, smell, and taste Tishbi. The combination of wine & food created interest among people of the press and television, says Oshra, "…even in Italy, Land of Wine, the wine jellies won the hearts of the Italians"! Mr. Marco Segre (click here for details) currently distributes Tishbi wines and fine foods in Italy. The market is beginning to open itself to wines from around the world and we hope to amaze the Italians with our top quality products.

Passover activities at our Visitors' Center
During the Chol Hamoed week of the Passover Holiday, the Winery's Visitors' Center & restaurant will be open from Tuesday through Friday. The restaurant's kitchen will serve a special menu with a variety of items kosher for the Holiday (dairy & fish including legumes).
Daily tours will take place at 10:00, 12:00, and 14:00 by appointment. Scheduling can be made by calling: 04-6288195.
